Your Future, Your Legacy
Kali Roundy
Kali Roundy is an experienced attorney whose practice is grounded in extensive courtroom experience, strategic problem-solving, and a practical understanding of the complex financial and personal issues her clients face.
Kali began her legal career as a prosecutor, where she prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases ranging from misdemeanor offenses to some of the most serious felony matters, including homicide and sexual assault cases. Her years as a prosecutor provided substantial courtroom and trial experience and required her to evaluate difficult facts, work with experts and law enforcement, prepare witnesses, analyze complex evidence, and make consequential decisions under pressure. That foundation continues to shape her approach to advocacy today.
After leaving prosecution, Kali transitioned into private practice, where she has developed a practice focused primarily on family law. She represents clients in matters involving divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, maintenance, protection orders, adoption, guardianship, and other domestic relations issues. She has particular experience with complex and high-conflict cases, including high-asset divorces, cases involving closely held businesses and complicated financial issues, and matters requiring significant litigation and courtroom advocacy.

Kali approaches family law with the understanding that the most effective solution is not always the most conventional one. She works to identify the issues that matter most to her clients, understand the practical consequences of the available options, and develop creative strategies tailored to the particular circumstances of each case. When resolution is possible, she strives to find solutions that minimize unnecessary conflict and expense. When litigation is necessary, her extensive courtroom background allows her to advocate confidently and strategically.
In addition to family law, Kali's private-practice experience has included misdemeanor criminal defense, civil protection orders, estate planning, adoptions, and guardianships. Her background on both sides of criminal cases also provides valuable perspective in family law and protection-order matters involving allegations of criminal conduct or overlapping criminal proceedings.
Kali also owns and operates a business outside of her legal practice. That experience gives her firsthand insight into the realities of business ownership, including operations, employees, financial decision-making, valuation concerns, cash flow, and the demands placed on business owners. She brings that practical perspective to cases involving business interests, self-employed parties, and complex marital estates.
Across her practice, Kali combines litigation experience with practical judgment and individualized strategy. She recognizes that legal disputes—particularly those involving families, children, businesses, and significant assets—rarely lend themselves to a one-size-fits-all approach. Her goal is to give clients candid advice, develop a strategy suited to their circumstances, and provide strong advocacy from the beginning of a case through resolution or trial..
